Youth x Community: Sustain, Scale, Serve

Youth x Community brings Spin Up Fellows together with the people and organisations working on the ground, so that youth-led projects are shaped by real community needs and built to last.
Conversations with Community Partners
Fellows sat down for candid conversations with two of our NGO partners, the Chinese Development Assistance Council (CDAC) and the Migrant Workers’ Centre (MWC).

Sustain, Scale, Serve
In January 2026, our Fellows reached the six-month mark of their journey. With their projects up and running, the big question became: how do we make this last? Our online forum, Youth x Community Partners: Sustain, Scale, Serve, was built around that question, shifting the focus of the Fellowship’s second half from implementation to sustainability, continuity and long-term scale, and why measuring impact matters.
Panel: Scaling Up and Sustaining Youth-led Projects
Three guest speakers shared their real-world journeys of growing youth-led and community initiatives from a pilot into a full programme. Their stories showed what lasting youth impact looks like beyond a single event, covering the key building blocks of funding, volunteer mobilisation, partnerships and handovers, and gave Fellows practical takeaways for thinking about what comes next.
Service Dragon’s Den
After the panel, our speakers stayed on for 1-to-1 consultations in breakout rooms. Project teams who booked a slot spent 15–20 minutes with a speaker, digging into the sustainability and scaling challenges facing their own projects, getting unstuck, and building connections for longer-term mentorship and partnerships.
